Yoga and walking holiday in magical Sicily

Sicily is a delightful island surrounded by beautiful clear seas. Awash with amazing mountain scenery & traditional villages where the way of life has barely changed.

17th - 24th October

Featured as a ‘Top 10 healthy holiday!' in All About You (now Prima)

We have booked a lovely venue in the heart of the picturesque seaside town of Cefalù. With 7 very spacious apartments all with kitchenettes and ensuite bathrooms the setting for our accommodation really does have the ‘wow’ factor! Step onto our rooftop terrace where we’ll be practicing the yoga and you’ll be hard pushed to remain focused with the views of the sea and the surrounding delights!
We’ll be overlooking the square which houses the imposing Duomo, a stunning 12th century cathedral. Towering above is the Rocca, a massive hill, well worth the steep climb to see the Norman fortifications, said also to be home to mythical giants!
We’ll be just off the main street, Corso Ruggero, where we’ll join the locals after yoga for the ‘passeggiata’, the evening stroll!
With gorgeous beaches and fantastic restaurants it’s no wonder that director Giuseppe Tornatore chose to set parts of his much-loved film Cinema Paradiso here. Cefalù really is the perfect picture postcard town for a holiday!

Arrivals are at Palermo airport. You can arrive at anytime but do let us know before you book which flights you intend to take so that we can advise on travel from Palermo airport. We’ll take time to settle in before enjoying a typical Sicilian meal at a local restaurant. You classes start the next day, Sunday.

There’ll be yoga every morning, 8-9.15am, apart from the day of departure and in the evenings, 6-7.15pm apart from on the days we go out for our guided walks. On these days there’ll be no yoga in the evenings so we’re not tied to a schedule and we can explore if we want to! Of course we’ll be back for dinnertime!

During our stay in Sicily, after breakfast on two of the days we’ll be taken on guided walks. With our backpacks full of picnic food (this is Sicily so expect sun dried tomatoes, olives, cheeses and fresh bread!) we’ll head off on our trek accompanied by our knowledgeable guide who will take us on a walk in the picturesque areas stopping for lunch half way.

Personally we think Sicilian food is the best cuisine in the world! If you’re a fish eater then the abundance of fresh fish and seafood will more than satisfy your appetite. Meat eaters are also catered for too with local meats dishes on the menu. Vegetarians will not be disappointed either! The local vegetable dishes are mouth waveringly good - the local aubergine dish of ‘caponata’ is a must try, not forgetting ‘arancini’ (stuffed friend rice balls) and the famous ice cream sandwiches!
The local honey and wines are also a real treat!

With regards to meals on this yoga holiday, breakfast/brunch is included as well as the picnics on our guided walks and 2 dinners at our venue on our private rooftop terrace, when we’ll be catered for by a local chef. We’ll book restaurants for the whole group for the other evening dinners at places that offer a wide range of meals to suit all budgets.
Lunches can be taken at local cafes or you can prepare a little picnic in your own kitchenette to take down to the beach!

THE COSTS per person

The closest airport is Palermo which at the moment is served by Easyjet, Ryanair and Alitalia (indirect). You can arrive at anytime but do let us know before you book which flights you intend to take so that we can advise on travel from Palermo airport. There are several options to get to Cefalù: take a bus (60 minutes) to Palermo central train station and from here take a direct train (60 minutes) to Cefalù. Take a taxi (75 minutes) or hire a car. We will organise it so that if you’re arriving at the same time as someone else you can travel with them and share costs if you’re taking a taxi. We will also let all our guests know our flight details should you wish to travel with us as a group.

Please contact us using the form on this page or email us on
